Key Responsibilities

  • •Build rapport with carrier and client contacts and take an active role in client meetings as needed.
  • •Prepare and send requests for proposals to insurance carriers and compile results as they come in.
  • •Review contracts, benefit plan summaries, and carrier source documents for accuracy in collaboration with senior team members.
  • •Lead first drafts of renewal presentations and negotiate/recommend renewal actions based on analyzed RFPs and plan designs.
  • •Support compliance activities, including maintaining client resources after open enrollment/changes and ensuring 5500 filings are completed timely.

Salary: USD 52,700 - 65,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •More than 3 years of client service and/or industry and product line experience.
  • •Knowledge of benefits administration and HealthCare Reform, including industry trends and carrier products/services.
  • •Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, with ability to present and communicate effectively in writing and orally.
  • •Ability to work independently and proactively in a remote environment with strong self-management and responsiveness.
  • •Life, Accident and Health Insurance License required within six months (associates degree or equivalent; BA/BS preferred).
