Job Summary

Lead execution of major programs and mid- to large-scale cross-functional engineering teams for defense ground equipment mechanical design. Serve as a subject matter expert and technical liaison to integrated product teams, overseeing technical performance and lifecycle engineering guidance. Drive proposal efforts, EAC activities, TDP development, peer reviews, and cost/schedule/technical commitments. Perform complex mechanical design and documentation, and support integration with domestic and international factories and suppliers.

•Perform complex mechanical design, development, and documentation for defense systems, including support for product integration with factories and suppliers.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a STEM degree and 10+ years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with at least 7 years’ experience.
•Mechanical equipment design and development experience, preferably in defense/military environments.
•Proven leadership of engineering teams with accountability for cost, schedule, and technical performance, including project budgeting and scheduling.
•Experience collaborating within Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and cross-functional organizations, including customer engagement.
•Hands-on mechanical design experience from trade studies and concept development through production transition and supplier support.
