Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team across electro-optical systems, sensors, algorithms, and integration/test.
  • •Establish and improve engineering processes, tools, and metrics for technical excellence and continuous improvement.
  • •Provide technical oversight of architectures, designs, analyses, integration/test plans, and verification/validation activities.
  • •Represent SOR Engineering in technical and program reviews and executive briefings; build relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • •Own cost, schedule, and technical performance; acquire and allocate resources, including supplier technical management and training/readiness to execute statements of work.

Key Requirements

  • •Current Tier 5 (T5), formerly SSBI, or enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years (U.S. Citizenship required).
  • •Bachelor of Science degree in engineering/engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • •5+ years of experience leading or managing an engineering project or team.
  • •Product development and systems engineering experience.
