Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility equipment and building systems.
  • •Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and coordinate maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, cooling, and life-safety systems.
  • •Monitor Building Management System alarms and respond to temperature, humidity, cooling, electrical, and other facility conditions.
  • •Coordinate and oversee service providers, including pre-work briefings, monitoring work, and completing post-work inspections.
  • •Respond to facility incidents (e.g., equipment failures, utility interruptions, water leaks, fire-system alarms) and support incident investigation, documentation, and follow-up actions.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years operating or maintaining mechanical and electrical systems in a data center, laboratory, hospital, advanced manufacturing facility, or similar technically demanding environment.
  • •Substantial practical knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire suppression, emergency power, and building life-safety systems.
  • •Experience monitoring and responding to alarms through a Building Management System (or comparable monitoring platform).
  • •Ability to independently troubleshoot building-system and equipment problems using established procedures and technical judgment.
  • •Experience coordinating and overseeing contractors and service providers.
