Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver lessons that inspire students to succeed and achieve the best possible outcomes.
  • •Plan and prepare sessions for the whole ability range, organising classroom resources and learning environments.
  • •Assess and record student development using Target Tracker, using assessment data to inform planning and interventions.
  • •Manage classes effectively and follow the school’s behaviour policy, acting decisively and maintaining positive relationships.
  • •Work with parents and colleagues to embed the Teacher and Learner DNA, support student well-being, and contribute to school events and a weekly ECA each term.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in the related subject with PGCE or other teacher qualification.
  • •Minimum 1–2 years teaching experience.
  • •Previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language.
  • •Passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child.
  • •A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check.
