Buyer (B3)

Own purchasing for materials, supplies, machinery, and services that support Applied Materials’ manufacturing facilities. Ensure supply continuity by managing supplier pull-ins/push-outs to meet MRP demand, negotiating for the lowest cost consistent with quality and urgency, and leading inventory and E&Z reduction efforts. Work with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve supply issues, manage purchasing projects across cost/schedule/scope, and improve purchasing processes while training the team.
