Key Responsibilities

•Lead and grow an engineering organization of 8+ engineers responsible for checkout architecture, order management, and post-order quality.
•Serve as primary engineering point of contact for 10+ partner teams, managing high-volume intake and ensuring reliable, well-scoped dependency delivery for major launches.
•Drive platform thinking by identifying opportunities to rebuild and modernize foundational systems while preserving shipping pace.
•Own engineering execution end to end, including roadmap alignment, technical strategy, team health, hiring, and career development.
•Partner with product, design, data science, and cross-functional engineering leaders to define the future of order infrastructure.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 196,000 - 207,000

Key Requirements

•7+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in engineering management leading teams of 8+ engineers.
•Demonstrated experience owning and scaling backend systems in a high-traffic, production environment for transactional domains (e-commerce/order management/checkout).
•Proven ability to manage complex cross-functional dependencies across multiple partner teams with strong prioritization and stakeholder communication.
•Experience driving technical roadmaps that balance platform modernization with continuous product delivery in a fast-paced environment.
•Track record of hiring, retaining, and developing engineering talent, including performance management and career growth conversations.
