Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and validate systems and components using acceptable engineering principles.
  • •Release for production components and drawings required to complete assigned projects within cost and time parameters.
  • •Conceptualize designs, plans, details, and procedures to convey construction and fabrication requirements.
  • •Coordinate with supply chain to analyze vendor-supplied samples and drawings and incorporate required information into the final product.
  • •Investigate design and assembly improvements to enhance safety and reduce warranty, cost, and complexity, collaborating with manufacturing engineering on work instructions, tooling, and manufacturability.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field.
  • •At least four years of combined education and experience designing mechanical systems.
  • •Thorough understanding of professional design standards and drafting practices.
  • •Proficiency with Siemens NX (or similar CAD modeling systems).
  • •Working knowledge of mechanical engineering and design, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP systems.
