Job Summary

Server PCB design engineer responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing server PCB layouts for high-performance computing systems; collaborates with EE/ME/SI and Power teams to ensure performance, manufacturability, and cost targets while meeting thermal and power requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and develop server board layouts, including component placement, constraint setting, signal routing and Gerber output, using Allegro tools
•Collaborate with EE, ME, SI, and Power Engineers to propose PCB design and optimize server designs for performance, manufacturability, and cost
•Work with vendors and manufacturers to resolve design issues and ensure compliance with industry standards

Key Requirements

•Must have 7-12 years of server PCB design or high-density board PCB design experience
•Cadence Allegro tools skill is required
•Knowledge of high-speed routing rules and power PCB design
•Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering, computer engineering or related field
•Ability to communicate with various teams to articulate specs and requirements as they pertain to layout
