Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform technical inspections on heavy equipment, tactical vehicles, and MHE during turn-in.
  • •Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults and execute preventive/corrective maintenance per Army TMs and regulations.
  • •Repair and service engines, transmissions, drivetrains, brakes, steering, suspension, and hydraulic systems, including MHE such as forklifts, cranes, and loaders.
  • •Maintain and update inspection, maintenance, and repair records using Army-approved forms/systems and comply with ISO 9001:2015 QMS.
  • •Coordinate with supply technicians/inspectors during mass turn-in events and support condition coding and disposition documentation.

Salary: USD 30.77 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •3–5 years of experience as a mechanic on military or heavy equipment.
  • •Strong knowledge of U.S. Army maintenance standards and technical manuals (TMs), including PMCS.
  • •Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and read schematics/technical drawings.
  • •Experience with Army logistics systems such as GCSS-Army is strongly preferred.
  • •Must obtain and maintain Common Access Card (CAC) and Tier1/NACI (Public trust) background eligibility.
