Senior/Principal Civil 3D Modeller for Renewable Energy based in Glasgow. Lead Civil 3D modelling across projects, deliver earthwork, drainage and construction data, mentor junior staff, and drive ISO19650-based processes within an integrated design team in a hybrid working environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Deliver earthwork design/analysis for tracks, roads, intersections and laydown areas, including volumes analysis and drainage; ensure deliverables meet project requirements and maintain design data documentation.
•Provide design expertise and guidance as the Civil 3D lead within the team; produce construction details/technical drawings and ensure adherence to ISO19650 framework.
•Mentor and collaborate with team members across experience levels; participate in iterative design processes and liaise with internal/external design teams.
•Operate CAD software for meetings/presentations and process CAD data for use with other software platforms; ensure compliance with client and AECOM CAD standards.
•Produce and review dynamic 3D Civil 3D models and presentation materials for bids/design reviews.

Key Requirements

•HNC/HND, BSc, BEng, MSc or MEng in an engineering or CAD-related subject (civil engineering preferred)
•Experience within civil engineering industries (land development, transport, construction, water, waste, mining, surveying)
•Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D in a live project environment
•Be the go-to modeller for Civil 3D within the team and provide guidance
•Interest in building and leading a modelling team over time
