Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the Strategic Sourcing Team and guide the team through the strategic sourcing process to determine the optimum solution for internal customer needs based on market capabilities.
  • •Analyze, develop and lead the implementation of the global sourcing strategy for designated projects usually lasting six to nine months.
  • •Oversee reduction of Total Cost of Ownership without compromising business strategy.
  • •Manage spend sourced annually, typically complex in nature and exceeding 100 million USD.
  • •Lead data analysis, cost modeling, and RFx development on spend for designated projects; determine optimum supplier solutions; select strategic suppliers and negotiate agreements.

Key Requirements

  • •Undergraduate degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or similar discipline with 5-8 years of related experience in strategic sourcing, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, field operations and/or project management.
  • •Strategic Sourcing training and practical Strategic Sourcing experience.
  • •Very good Technical-Commercial knowledge and ability to interpret technical documents (drawings, requirements, specifications) to develop Strategic Sourcing solutions and communicate with Technical stakeholders.
  • •Supervisory experience to lead a small team of 5-7 members.
  • •SAP knowledge is preferred; Intermediate Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Look-up Functions, Graphs), Word and Power Point knowledge needed.
