Participate in hospital executive governance, manage nursing-related budgeting and staffing, and ensure emergency and evacuation readiness.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop, maintain, and lead a learning culture amongst the nursing team while establishing and monitoring professional standards of care.
•Oversee the overall administration of the Nursing Department and maintain quality of nursing care in collaboration with the Medical Director and Department Heads.
•Own nursing policies and procedures, ensuring regular updates, and ensure emergency and evacuation procedures are led and followed.
•Support performance improvement initiatives through HR’s plan, including utilization review and risk management, and ensure sentinel/serious incidents trigger Nursing Process Reviews.
•Manage staffing, recruitment planning, budgets, operating expenses, and capital equipment plans for the Nursing Department.

Key Requirements

•Hold an appropriate Registered Nurse license to practice under the relevant regulatory health authority, with all mandated qualifications and experience.
•Hold a Master’s degree in Nursing or Hospital Administration/Management.
•Hold a valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider card.
•Demonstrate the ability to influence, implement, and execute change when necessary.
