Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, maintain, and lead a learning culture amongst the nursing team while establishing and monitoring professional standards of care.
  • •Oversee the overall administration of the Nursing Department and maintain quality of nursing care in collaboration with the Medical Director and Department Heads.
  • •Own nursing policies and procedures, ensuring regular updates, and ensure emergency and evacuation procedures are led and followed.
  • •Support performance improvement initiatives through HR’s plan, including utilization review and risk management, and ensure sentinel/serious incidents trigger Nursing Process Reviews.
  • •Manage staffing, recruitment planning, budgets, operating expenses, and capital equipment plans for the Nursing Department.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold an appropriate Registered Nurse license to practice under the relevant regulatory health authority, with all mandated qualifications and experience.
  • •Hold a Master’s degree in Nursing or Hospital Administration/Management.
  • •Hold a valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider card.
  • •Demonstrate the ability to influence, implement, and execute change when necessary.
