Key Responsibilities

•Lead technical review of I&C deliverables, including instrumentation data sheets, control and safety valves, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, instrument lists, I/O signals, and cabling routes.
•Ensure cross‑disciplinary consistency by validating P&ID, data sheets, instrument lists, control logic, and 3D layout against design specifications.
•Verify compliance with ISA, IEC, NFPA, API and Wood/Ecopetrol standards in all designs and documentation.
•Manage documentation quality, ensuring proper coding, version control, traceability, and completeness of technical information (ranges, setpoints, units, materials).
•Participate in project quality assurance activities, including squad checks, interdisciplinary reviews, design reviews (30%, 60%, 90%), and support for internal/external audits.

Key Requirements

•Knowledge of SmartPlant (SPI, SP3D) and instrument calculation tools
•Deep understanding of Instrumentation and Control standards ISA, IEC, NFPA, API, PIP, EIA/TIA
•Microsoft Office proficiency
•Experience in Oil & Gas sector
•10-15 years of engineering project experience in Oil & Gas
