Job Summary

Join as a Product Failure Analysis Engineer to drive end-to-end failure analysis across Intel SoC, CPU, and discrete graphics platforms. You’ll perform physical root-cause investigations, recommend corrective actions across design, fab, assembly, and test, and help improve failure analysis tools and methodologies. The role also includes developing failure analysis techniques, maintaining FMEA and control plans, and leading initiatives for future technologies to increase yield and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform failure analysis and root-cause investigations on Intel products.
•Conduct physical failure analysis to identify defects and recommend corrective actions across design, fab, assembly, and test teams.
•Collaborate on new product and technology transfer, improving failure analysis tools and methodologies.
•Develop and proliferate failure analysis techniques and solutions across Intel sites.
•Maintain and improve FMEA and control plans throughout product lifecycles, and lead strategic initiatives for future technologies.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Microelectronics Engineering, or a related field.
•Fresh graduate in a relevant field is encouraged to apply.
•Proficiency in one or more areas such as failure analysis techniques, device physics, circuit analysis, layout analysis, and wafer fabrication process knowledge.
•Strong problem-solving and analytical skills demonstrated through academic or professional experience.
•Ability to collaborate in diverse, cross-functional teams and communicate clearly in written and verbal forms.
