Job Summary

Join our Mine Waste Civil/Geotechnical team to work on mining, heavy civil, and geotechnical projects. You’ll conduct geotechnical field investigations, site characterization, and facility design analyses, prepare technical reports, and support multi-disciplinary design packages while mentoring junior engineers and traveling as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Work within the Mine Waste team on civil and geotechnical engineering projects for the mining industry.
•Perform geotechnical field investigations and site/material characterization.
•Design facilities including grading, storage capacity, and construction quantity evaluations; conduct slope stability, seepage, consolidation, liner, and deformation analyses.
•Prepare technical reports documenting field and laboratory investigations, analyses, and designs.
•Lead and mentor junior engineers and contribute to multi-disciplinary design packages while ensuring safety and project schedules.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or closely related discipline
•Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification
•3 to 5 years of relevant post-education experience
•Strong analytical skills and ability to perform engineering calculations
•Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently and in teams
