Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive, pay out, and handle cash, negotiable items, loan payments, deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
  • •Set up, close, and balance the teller station; assist with balancing the vault, ATM, night drop, and coin machine.
  • •Record sales of monetary instruments and assist customers with inquiries in person or by telephone.
  • •Maintain a neat, well-stocked teller area and adhere to work schedules and bank policies/procedures.
  • •Cross-sell bank products and services, follow account protection and safety/soundness limits, and complete required BSA/AML and compliance training.

Key Requirements

  • •Equivalent to four years high school or GED, with 0 to 6 months related experience and/or training (or equivalent education/experience).
  • •Must be able to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations.
  • •Must have basic math skills and 10-key proficiency to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers using money and other measurements.
  • •Must have cash handling experience in a business environment.
  • •Must be able to maintain a positive, friendly, professional attitude and appearance.
