Key Responsibilities

  • •Support product design and systems engineering for new and legacy land products.
  • •Conduct and manage product and process design, development, test, manufacture, and evaluation activities.
  • •Plan and deliver product development trials safely, then report and present conclusions.
  • •Develop inspection methods and quality control processes to ensure compliance of components and assembled products.
  • •Manage suppliers (internal and external) to keep development activities on time and support costed proposal generation for customers.

Key Requirements

  • •Obtain (or be predicted to obtain) a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or a pass at Master’s level in Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Materials Science.
  • •Attend the site 3-4 days per week for this role.
  • •Lead and support safe product development trials, including planning through to reporting and presentation of conclusions.
  • •Prepare technical documentation, including reports, procurement specifications, and requirement specifications.
  • •Achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard and meet any required national security vetting/residency conditions.
