Key Responsibilities

  • •Carry out designated UAS flight crew duties under the command of the PIC.
  • •Perform non-operational ground/flight activities including GT/TT/FT/SIM and equipment testing to maintain fleet serviceability and enhance UAS capability.
  • •Conduct operational flight activities to meet ADASI commitments, including internal/external flight operations and participation in national/international deployments.
  • •Maintain UAS operational currency and ADASI OPS Department operational status.
  • •Support OPS commitments such as static and flight demonstrations, provide inputs to local/standard operating procedures, and complete development ground/flight activities for UAS type enhancement.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold an appropriate UAS category, class, and type rating per the Pilot Currency Flight Syllabus.
  • •Preferably have civilian or military manned/unmanned aviation flight crew licensing (fixed/rotary wing), including a radio communication license.
  • •Successful completion of Higher Technical College or UAE AF Air College.
  • •Successful completion of UAS Type Training and at least 24 months system time as Junior Pilot on the relevant UAS category/class/type.
  • •Minimum Class 4 English proficiency level.
