Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and supervise the Southwest Dams and Hydropower Department serving Arizona, Utah, and Southern California areas.
  • •Deliver business results including sales, revenue, profitability, and growth, and maintain relationships with existing and new clients.
  • •Oversee project and team performance, providing direction and leadership to teams delivering dams, spillways, hydropower projects, and geotechnical engineering services.
  • •Oversee project management activities including tracking scope, schedule, and budget; prepare proposals, cost estimates, and schedules; and ensure quality of deliverables.
  • •Recruit new staff and grow the business; mentor junior staff; and perform independent technical reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS degree in engineering or related field plus 10 years of relevant experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership.
  • •Experience in dams, including risk assessment, hydraulic structures, or related areas.
  • •Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • •7+ years of progressive experience managing departments or teams of similar sizes.
  • •Demonstrated contributions via publications, presentations, and/or professional associations, with some travel required.
