Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement material management strategies, policies, and procedures to comply with federal regulations including FAR 52.245-1 (Government Property) and DFARS clauses.
  • •Hire, train, and lead a high-performing warehouse team, providing guidance, performance feedback, and a culture of compliant operational excellence.
  • •Implement end-to-end material management controls including FIFO adherence, cycle/physical counting, scrap/obsolescence/disposal management, and DCMA/internal audits to ensure inventory accuracy and audit readiness.
  • •Collaborate with procurement, Government Property Administrators, production, manufacturing engineering, logistics, and quality to support demand forecasting, procurement planning, and timely delivery.
  • •Use ERP/WMS and federal registry systems (e.g., PIEE/WAWF) to track inventory, generate reports, and ensure compliance with ITAR/EAR, OSHA safety standards, and AS9100 quality requirements.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 86,000 - 114,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or equivalent experience.
  • •3+ years managing material management, inventory control, or supply chain roles in aerospace/defense manufacturing under federal regulations (FAR/DFARS).
  • •1+ years managing a lead of supervisors, associates, or technicians.
  • •Familiarity with Government-Furnished Property (GFP) administration and FAR Part 45/52.245-1 requirements.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance and work onsite locally to Santa Ana, CA or Costa Mesa, CA.
