Job Summary

Join the Fleet Maintenance team to keep Carvana’s Class 8 day cabs and trailers safe, reliable, and DOT compliant. You’ll perform preventive maintenance and repairs, diagnose electrical/engine/transmission issues using diagnostic tools and software, and handle aftertreatment (DEF/emissions) service. Maintain accurate records, collaborate to minimize downtime, and use clear growth pathways including internal training and ASE certification support.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and component replacements on Class 8 fleet vehicles.
•Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot electrical, engine, and transmission problems.
•Service aftertreatment systems (DEF/emissions), perform regens, and change filters.
•Collaborate with the team to maintain accurate records, optimize performance, and minimize downtime.
•Follow safety protocols and industry best practices to ensure DOT compliance.

Key Requirements

•3+ years of experience with heavy-duty Class 8 trucks and trailers or similar equipment (agricultural, construction, waste collection).
•Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for diesel engines, transmissions, and vehicle systems.
•Experience with aftertreatment systems and electrical diagnostics; comfortable with MIG welding is a plus.
•Ability to use diagnostic software and a laptop for manuals.
•Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to perform physical maintenance tasks.
