Key Responsibilities

  • •Support growth and day-to-day servicing of a portfolio of trade credit insurance clients.
  • •Respond to coverage, credit limit, claims, and mid-term adjustment queries and help prepare renewal and review meetings.
  • •Prepare and process new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations while maintaining accurate client and policy records.
  • •Liaise with trade credit insurers and underwriters to obtain terms, negotiate coverage, resolve issues, and support placements with market submissions and quotations.
  • •Provide first-line claims support (notifications and documentation), monitor key dates, and maintain accurate claims and client reporting records.

Key Requirements

  • •A relevant insurance qualification (e.g., APA, CIP or equivalent recognised in Ireland).
  • •Proven experience in the insurance industry in broking, underwriting, or account handling.
  • •Experience in a client-facing or account support role, ideally in commercial/corporate lines, with strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • •A solid understanding of general insurance principles, policy wordings, and Irish regulatory requirements.
  • •Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities, plus comfort working with financial and exposure data.
