Job Summary

Lead the Client Delivery & Observability (CDO) team across two squads responsible for safe client release delivery and real-time observability. Own direction and execution for release automation and streaming analytics/canary analysis that detect regressions before members are impacted. Hire, coach, and grow engineers and tech leads, drive operational excellence (incident response, on-call, SLOs), and partner with client platform, experimentation, and reliability stakeholders. Build a unified roadmap and scaling plan.

•Lead a newly formed team spanning two squads, hiring, coaching, and growing engineers while building unified team identity.
•Develop and execute a unified roadmap balancing release delivery infrastructure with real-time observability systems.
•Partner cross-functionally with client platform, streaming infrastructure, experimentation, developer productivity, and device reliability stakeholders to translate needs into engineering goals.
•Drive operational excellence for production systems, including incident response practices, sustainable on-call rotations, and reliability/technical debt tradeoffs.
•Establish and track service-level objectives to keep the team accountable to consumers.

Salary: USD 436,000 - 710,000 annually

Key Requirements

•10+ years of software or data engineering experience with strong depth in distributed systems and large-scale data processing or CI/CD infrastructure.
•5+ years of engineering team management experience.
•Domain experience in at least one area: real-time data pipelines, release automation/CI-CD infrastructure, or experimentation platforms.
•Experience building shared tooling, infrastructure, or platform features that help other teams move faster and more reliably.
•Experience leading distributed or hybrid engineering teams and coordinating multiple squads with distinct charters, including coaching tech leads.
