Own quality across the Salesforce platform by designing automation frameworks, test strategies, and quality gates that enable fast, reliable releases. Build automated Apex unit tests, UI automation, API tests, and end-to-end regression suites, and integrate them into CI/CD with GitHub Actions and SFDX. Define test strategy across the SDLC, investigate defects, improve coverage, manage test data, and report quality metrics to the team.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for the Salesforce org, including Apex unit tests, UI automation, API testing, and end-to-end regression suites.
•Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and SFDX-based deployment workflows with quality gates for production deployments.
•Define and own test strategy across the SDLC, including story acceptance criteria, test plan authorship, execution, defect triage, and sign-off.
•Investigate defects systematically by reproducing, isolating, categorizing by impact, and creating minimum viable test cases to prevent recurrence.
•Track and improve test coverage across Apex classes, flows, integrations, and UI, including proactive closure of coverage gaps and maintaining test data strategies across sandbox environments.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of software quality engineering experience with meaningful time in a Salesforce environment.
•Automation-first mindset; write test code and limit manual testing to exploratory/edge cases and UAT support.
•Proficient in Apex test class development, including understanding governor limits and meaningful test data isolation.
•Hands-on UI automation experience using Selenium, Playwright, or similar for Salesforce Lightning.
•Proficient with Jira for defect and sprint management and experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI (REST and SOAP).
