Key Responsibilities

  • •Edit video (including day-of-air packages) and graphic elements for a live show under a tight deadline.
  • •Collaborate with producers and correspondents to research, write, and produce strong editorial copy with speed and accuracy.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years working in broadcast, streaming, or cable news, preferably on live daily shows or in/around a control room.
  • •Comfort editing digital video and a strong desire to pursue a journalism career with thorough knowledge of current events.
  • •Ability to work calmly under intense deadlines, double-check work for accuracy, and stay composed in a fast-paced environment.
  • •A bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
  • •Experience shooting in the field on DSLR cameras and editing video, ideally using both Avid and Premiere; familiarity with iNEWS is desired.
