Key Responsibilities

  • •Assess AI-built, vibe-coded prototypes and decide to harden, rebuild, or redirect while owning outcomes end-to-end.
  • •Design, build, and ship enterprise services on Robinhood’s enterprise platforms to meet secure, reliable engineering standards.
  • •Drive AI-native development using agents for assessment, porting, and test scaffolding, shipping MCP servers, sub-agents, and agent skills as production artifacts.
  • •Collaborate with sponsoring business units (Finance, HR, Legal, Compliance) to translate real workflows into adoptable software.
  • •Deliver operational handoffs including runbooks, evals, and dashboards; establish reusable platform patterns and raise AI-era engineering quality.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of software engineering experience building and running production backend or full-stack systems, delivering high-ambiguity projects end-to-end independently.
  • •Hands-on cloud depth with GCP preferred, including containerized services, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code with a serverless focus.
  • •Demonstrated AI-native development: fluency with agentic coding tools and experience building LLM-powered applications or agentic workflows, with strong judgment to review, harden, and productionize AI-generated code.
  • •Product sense and scoping discipline to identify the core 20% of a prototype and turn it into an adopted solution.
  • •Exceptional communication with non-engineers and experience in highly regulated industries, especially finance/fintech, is strongly preferred.
