Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise clients on cost strategies and manage vendor prequalification, bids, bid levelling documents, and appointment processes.
  • •Lead estimating across full project lifecycles by developing estimates, reviewing junior work, presenting to clients, and recommending value engineering and risk assessments.
  • •Manage cost reporting through reporting schedules, cost report/forecast reviews, budget and spend forecast reviews, and maintaining commercial risk registers.
  • •Perform cost control by reviewing payment applications, recommending contractor entitlements, reviewing change orders, and supporting dispute prevention/resolution.
  • •Handle final accounting processes including post-contract audits and account closeouts, and conduct post-contract reviews to drive continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field.
  • •3–5 years of experience in cost management or quantity surveying within the construction industry.
  • •Experience supporting cost management on medium to large-scale construction projects.
  • •Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • •RICS accreditation or working toward certification is valuable.
