Job Summary

Design and operate production systems that power large-scale data centers, managing the server lifecycle from OS installation and deployment through monitoring, automation, and retirement. Build tooling to improve reliability, scalability, availability, and latency, and lead incident response with root-cause analysis. Collaborate across infrastructure and platform teams to deliver innovations for Core IDCs and CDN/Edge while supporting on-call operations across regions.

Key Responsibilities

•Improve stability, efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability of data center and server operations, platform services, and infrastructure.
•Enhance the full server fleet lifecycle, from system design/consultation and launch reviews through deployment, operations, and retirement.
•Develop and deploy tools to increase automation, reliability, scalability, and operability of datacenter servers.
•Build monitoring solutions to improve availability, latency, and overall health of datacenter infrastructure, servers, and networks.
•Troubleshoot complex issues and perform root-cause analysis, preventive measures, and postmortems as part of disaster recovery and on-call incident response.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
•Strong Linux system administration skills, including understanding of kernels, drivers, and modules, plus scripting with Bash and Python for automation, configuration, performance tuning, and security.
•Experience planning, delivering, and operating large-scale data centers, including server hardware troubleshooting/diagnostics.
•Ability to customize and maintain operational tools across the full software tool lifecycle, including monitoring, provisioning, fault management, and repairs for new server hardware.
•Preferred: 5+ years of related experience, intermediate data-center expertise, and experience with GPU server operations.
