•Apply customer needs and internal technology capabilities to recommend, design, develop, and implement products and/or processes aligned to market needs and business strategy.
•Represent the company’s technical voice with internal stakeholders and customers; stay current on externally relevant technology trends.
•Drive programs through stage gate, including planning, executing, and analyzing production trials.
•Ensure quality documentation of work and contribute to an internal knowledge library without duplicating prior efforts.
•Lead technical process developments and improvements, collaborating with Engineering, Operations, and Quality to resolve technical challenges.

Key Requirements

•Undergraduate degree required (Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science preferred).
•5-8+ years technical experience, preferably in manufacturing R&D or process roles across multiple technical processes.
•Experience leading product and process development projects with sustained results.
•Demonstrated ability to synthesize information across a range of inputs and apply it to business outcomes.
•Demonstrated ability applying tools within Project Management, Design of Experiment, Design for Lean Six Sigma, and Statistical Analysis.
