Job Summary

Perform basic, routine work supporting the installation and maintenance of natural gas lines, meters, and regulators. Assist with leakage surveys, maintain accurate records and reports, and address safety and encroachment issues. You’ll support safe operation and inspection of company vehicles and equipment, follow safety manual requirements, and complete required operator qualifications (OQ) and training. Work includes outdoor conditions, possible standby/emergency callouts, and occasional overnight travel.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform basic, routine work using prescribed procedures and seek guidance for deviations from the norm.
•Assist in the installation and maintenance of natural gas lines, meters, and regulators, and may assist with leakage surveys.
•Complete and maintain accurate records and reports to comply with company and regulatory requirements.
•Identify, address, and report safety and encroachment issues; support and adhere to company values, policies, and the Code of Conduct.
•Operate and inspect assigned company vehicles and equipment safely, complete required safety training, and may participate in standby/emergency callouts and occasional extended hours.

Key Requirements

•Valid driver’s license in accordance with company standards.
•Complete assigned Operator Qualifications (OQ) and OJT for the Construction Learning Path, and obtain/maintain required position OQs and training.
•Ability to communicate with internal/external customers to obtain and provide basic factual information.
•Ability to work outdoors in all weather, handle confined spaces and ladder/roof/attic work, and complete safety training; safety-sensitive screenings including DOT/PHMSA drug testing and MVR checks are required.
