  • •Ensure maintenance work complies with Rio Tinto standards, policies, procedures, and statutory obligations while promoting a positive safety culture.
  • •Coordinate scheduled and breakdown maintenance activities with the shift crew to complete required work safely and efficiently.
  • •Allocate and manage planned maintenance activities using Rio Tinto work management principles to support equipment availability and productivity.
  • •Collaborate with production, engineering, planning, scheduling, contractors, and OEMs, and identify continuous improvement opportunities across safety, reliability, cost, and environmental performance.

  • •Demonstrated leadership experience leading, developing, and coaching maintenance team members and contractors in a safety-critical environment.
  • •In-depth knowledge of large-scale earthmoving equipment maintenance and experience coordinating planned and breakdown work.
  • •Working knowledge of maintenance plans, schedules, budgets, and work management processes.
  • •A current Western Australian C Class manual driver’s licence and a relevant electrical or mechanical trade qualification or engineering degree suitable for appointment as a Statutory Supervisor.
