Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and DOT inspections on vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
  • •Conduct minor adjustments and repairs across multiple truck systems, including electrical, brake, cooling, starters/alternators, engines, transmissions, and related components.
  • •Independently manage parts inventory and equipment on a company-issued service truck and complete periodic reconciliation.
  • •Maintain and operate the service vehicle, performing safety checks and pre-/post-trip inspections.
  • •Document work and complete DOT forms in a timely manner, including uploading required details using a company iOS device and TRAIT application.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED and up to 2 years’ experience in a related field.
  • •Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
  • •Complete DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical prior to employment (or submit a qualifying DOT medical card).
  • •Must be at least 21 years or older and hold a valid driver’s license with the ability to obtain/maintain a Driver Qualification File.
  • •Required certification: ASE T8 (PMI) (or obtained within 18 months).
