Key Responsibilities

  • •Investigate highly complex auto claims to determine coverage, liability, and physical damage, including total loss settlements.
  • •Negotiate liability for comparative negligence and evaluate coverage concerns, including reviewing prior loss history and creating SIU referrals when appropriate.
  • •Gather and analyze information (police reports, recorded and witness statements) to establish liability and regulatory compliance.
  • •Evaluate and negotiate settlement of first- and third-party physical damage claims within established settlement authority limits and negotiate excessive storage charges.
  • •Resolve claims through proactive problem-solving and decision-making, clearly document decisions, and collaborate with internal/external partners to facilitate resolution.
