Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the Hanwha Commodities technology portfolio and create/maintain the Energy technology roadmap.
  • •Consolidate and prioritize requests from Trading, Supply, Gas, Generation, Risk, and Settlements based on financial impact, operational risk, regulatory need, and business value.
  • •Translate energy lifecycle needs into technology requirements, define product outcomes, and establish product requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • •Lead dedicated Energy Technology capacity: manage the Energy app/data backlog, plan sprints/releases, and coordinate contractors and vendors.
  • •Ensure operational reliability by defining service expectations, coordinating incident priority and communication, driving corrective actions, and confirming operational ownership before production releases.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 220,000 - 240,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Strong technical background in SQL, Python, and .NET in an Azure environment, with the ability to understand application architecture, data flows, integrations, and production support issues.
  • •Experience supporting live trading desk or market-critical operations, including diagnosing and resolving broken data pipelines and system issues during market events.
  • •Ability to translate trading, forecasting, scheduling, pricing, position, settlement, gas, generation, and risk requirements into clear technology priorities and product outcomes.
  • •Strong product ownership, backlog management, prioritization, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • •Proactive problem-solving with calm operation under time pressure and shifting business priorities.
