Key Responsibilities

  • •Own site safety as Priority #1 by modeling and enforcing Black Box’s accident-free safety culture, leading compliance and continuous improvement.
  • •Develop and execute project plans, installation strategies, and site logistics; maintain 5-week lookahead schedules, labor forecasts, and daily progress tracking.
  • •Oversee daily field operations to meet/exceed production goals, budget, and schedule milestones, coordinating with project management and procurement for timely material delivery and staging.
  • •Ensure technical excellence and compliance for low-voltage structured cabling and fiber installations, including ANSI/TIA, BICSI, NEBS, testing/commissioning, and QA protocols.
  • •Manage and mentor large (100+) field technician teams, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and providing technical coaching as client onsite liaison.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED required.
  • •3–5+ years of supervisory experience on large-scale structured cabling or data center construction projects.
  • •Experience managing large, dispersed field teams (100+).
  • •Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices.
  • •Ability to interpret complex drawings, specifications, and construction schedules; identify design discrepancies and manage technical change control.
