Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform all duties required of a Contract Security Officer (CSO) and provide physical security at TVA facilities, including offices, dams, substations, warehouses, and critical infrastructure sites.
  • •Ensure continuous staffing coverage for security posts and shifts by monitoring procedures and site-specific requirements and conducting routine inspections and evaluations.
  • •Oversee facility access control operations, including verifying credentials and ensuring accountability of visitor badges and passes while enforcing TVA access control policies.
  • •Conduct and supervise foot and vehicle patrols, monitor perimeters and restricted areas, and identify/report suspicious activities or policy violations.
  • •Provide incident response by responding to alarms and emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement/emergency services when necessary, and ensuring incidents are properly documented and reported.
Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of successful field supervisory experience in civilian law enforcement, military service, security force operations, or commercial/industrial security environments (or documented comparable leadership experience).
  • •High school diploma or GED required.
  • •Strong verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in report writing and documentation.
  • •Excellent leadership and team-building abilities, including the ability to provide coaching and corrective action documentation.
  • •Proficiency with computer systems, scheduling software, and reporting platforms; ability to manage multiple priorities and staffing requirements.
