Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform high quality penetration testing on Atlassian software, platforms, and services.
  • •Provide world class technical assurance through manual penetration testing and code review.
  • •Support others in technically validating the state of Atlassian’s technical security controls.
  • •Work closely with security and engineering teams to strengthen security based on product understanding.
  • •Lead projects from start to finish and mentor other security practitioners.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years working in a whitebox penetration testing / appsec / manual code review role.
  • •Strong understanding of web application security.
  • •Experience in cloud security architecture and infrastructure.
  • •Experience coding in Java, Python, or Go, plus at least one scripting language.
  • •Ability to reason about security decisions and lead projects end to end while mentoring other security practitioners.
