Own and grow payment partnerships in Australia by structuring and negotiating new initiatives, managing partner relationships, and driving adoption of card products and local payment methods across merchant segments. Serve as the go-to expert on the Australian payments ecosystem, run QBRs with top merchants, and collaborate with product managers, business analysts, developers, and engineering/ops teams to resolve issues and facilitate joint product development and co-marketing opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive all aspects of payment partnerships, including prioritisation, structuring/negotiating new initiatives, and ongoing partner management.
•Proactively manage Australian partners, including structuring QBRs, securing incentives, and troubleshooting with dev and ops teams.
•Increase Adyen’s influence through industry engagements and opportunities such as joint product development and co-marketing.
•Develop and execute programs that advance strategic goals and positioning in key markets and segments.
•Manage escalations from local and global teams and ensure resolution with the right teams at payment partners.

Key Requirements

•At least 7 years of experience managing accounts or partnerships in the cards payments sector.
•Deep knowledge of the payments landscape, with the ability to interpret emerging trends.
•Comfort scoping and structurally planning new implementations and working across product, marketing, and account teams.
•Strong people skills to develop working relationships at all levels internally and externally.
•Proven track record managing complex initiatives using data to drive decisions, actions, and measurable results.
