Job Summary

Develop and maintain technical documentation for the F5 Application Delivery and Security Platform. You’ll manage documentation projects from design through release, collaborate with Product, Engineering, UX Design, QA, and Customer Success to gather requirements, and organize content review for accuracy and style compliance. As a technical writing subject matter expert, you’ll advise on best practices, distill complex concepts into clear guidance, and use Git for source-code management and peer reviews.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage technical documentation projects from design to release-ready deliverables, scoping and prioritizing timelines with stakeholders.
•Partner with Product and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and support documentation integration into product UX.
•Collaborate with Engineering, Product, UX Design, Quality Assurance, and Customer Success to create content for F5 products.
•Organize and facilitate the content review process; review and edit for accuracy, completeness, and style adherence.
•Serve as a subject matter expert in technical writing principles, methodologies, and tools, including using Git for source code and peer reviews.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 89,600 - 134,400 annually

Key Requirements

•BA or BS degree in Technical Communications, Writing, English, or a related area, or equivalent experience.
•At least three years’ technical writing experience.
•Experience with Linux systems and the command-line interface.
•Experience with container technologies using Docker and Kubernetes.
•Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and VMware vSphere.
