Key Responsibilities

  • •Measure, analyze, and debug workloads to identify power and performance gaps on Linux and Android/Chromebooks.
  • •Measure and analyze SoC/CPU and platform power rail-by-rail, and debug issues or gaps.
  • •Align with internal engineering teams and architects on power/performance projections, estimates, and measurements for internal and external communication.
  • •Guide, educate, and influence internal engineering teams, field account teams, and marketing teams on Intel power and performance positioning.
  • •Create power/performance estimates for upcoming Intel products and build up full test platforms (setup, calibration, and measurements).

Key Requirements

  • •BS/MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science with at least 2 years of experience.
  • •Prior experience in a post-silicon environment.
  • •Prior experience working in a Linux, Android, or Chromebook test environment.
  • •Understanding of standard benchmarks and ability to analyze performance trends.
  • •Experience with Linux or Android/Chromebook debug tools and familiarity with ITP/JTAG scripts, board bring-up, and power measurements.
