Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise department personnel and manage the O&M budget, communicating impacts to corporate O&M/CAPEX.
  • •Lead short-term and long-term generation capacity replacement activities, including RFP design/review and commercial negotiations for acquisitions, purchase power, and off-take/M&A transactions.
  • •Manage existing generation supply agreements and provide oversight of operations & market support, regulatory support, and market settlements.
  • •Provide regulatory testimony and support filings (e.g., CPCN, FERC) and lead rate case-related activities, including testimony and data requests.
  • •Develop forecasting and production costing models and support market-facing engagement and settlement reconciliation activities.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 160,100 - 240,100 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, business administration, or equivalent.
  • •10+ years of work experience in the electric utility, gas utility, or related industry.
  • •Extensive experience with wholesale electric market operations, gas trading, and commercial negotiations/origination, including renewable energy and battery storage.
  • •Experience leading a complex department spanning origination, market-facing, and regulatory processes.
  • •Knowledge of regulatory processes, plant operations, fuel supply, rates and tariffs, and state/federal regulations, including deal-structure/legal “deal” making processes.
