Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the coordination of all on-shift operations, ensuring the safe operation of plant equipment during normal and emergency scenarios.
  • •Use Distributive Control System (DCS) computers to operate equipment and monitor parameters, making necessary adjustments to maintain optimal performance.
  • •Ensure strict adherence to all local, State, and Federal regulations, as well as internal plant procedures.
  • •Maintain plant security, handle and transfer bulk chemicals, and ensure safe storage and transport of waste materials.
  • •Perform chemical analysis and control on steam, cooling, and condensate systems, while meticulously maintaining chemistry logs.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of directly related experience in a power plant environment.
  • •Must be authorized to work in the USA.
  • •Experience using test equipment, calibration appliances, and machinery repair/control systems.
  • •Strong mechanical aptitude with a basic understanding of chemistry, physics, electricity, and mathematics.
  • •Ability to perform walking, reaching, climbing, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
