The Senior Platform Architect leads the technical, solution, and competitive aspects of Zendesk AI customer engagement for Enterprise and Mid Market customers. You will design architecture, map requirements to software solutions, lead customer trials, and collaborate across sales, product, and engineering to deliver production-grade AI/LLM-powered integrations and platforms. Strong communication, cross-functional influence, and travel readiness are essential.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead scoping, solution design, and architecture discussions translating RFI/RFP requirements into production-ready Zendesk AI solutions.
•Drive technical validation and create customer journey maps and architecture blueprints for Enterprise engagements.
•Lead and execute high-impact customer trial plans and ensure successful deployment of AI-driven workflows and integrations.
•Collaborate across pre-sales, product, and engineering to align technical plans with business outcomes and security/compliance considerations.
•Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to influence decisions and drive outcomes.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•5+ years of technical customer-facing leadership in solutions engineering, technical consulting, and enterprise implementation.
•Robust technical foundation: comfortable writing code, working with APIs, and using JSON query/transformation languages for complex integrations.
•Structured execution: experience managing the full lifecycle of a solution from testing to performance optimization.
•Ambiguous problem solving: ability to shape and design solutions in fast-moving environments.
•AI & Conversational Intelligence: practical experience with AI, conversational bots, and LLM/AI agent ecosystems.
