Job Summary

Own product policy for GenAI safety and emerging features within Trust & Safety, translating risk research into clear, enforceable safety-by-design guidance. Lead pre- and post-launch risk assessments, track abuse patterns and enforcement trends, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Legal, and Public Policy to support launch readiness. Continuously evolve policy frameworks based on global regulation, industry best practices, and measured outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop, review, and refine product-specific safety policies for GenAI and emerging products, ensuring alignment with business strategy, regulatory standards, and user safety.
•Conduct pre-launch and post-launch risk assessments, identifying harms and abuse vectors (including GenAI-specific risks) and designing mitigation strategies.
•Monitor and analyze user interactions, enforcement trends, abuse patterns, and emerging technologies to inform policy development and product improvements.
•Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate product proposals, influence design decisions, and support launch readiness and policy sign-off.
•Track global regulatory developments and industry best practices, and prepare recommendations and risk analyses to drive stakeholder alignment.

Key Requirements

•5+ years in the technology industry with exposure to policy development, program management, trust and safety, compliance, and/or risk assessment.
•Bachelor's or Master's degree in artificial intelligence, public policy, politics, law, economics, behavioral sciences, or a related field.
•Strong analytical reasoning and project management skills to navigate ambiguity and balance trade-offs.
•Deep understanding of policy and safety issues impacting AI and other emerging technologies.
•Excellent oral and written communication skills to translate complex issues and influence cross-functional partners.
