Job Summary

Lead enterprise technical strategy for injection molding machinery and system performance across RPSNA NAB. Own platform standards for machine controls, hydraulics/electric systems, auxiliaries, and mold–machine interfaces, and drive lifecycle and asset planning. Partner with Product Development and Tooling Engineering to align product design with machine capability, improve cycle time and reliability, standardize setup philosophies, benchmark OEM technologies, and ensure governance through documentation, training, and cross-site adoption.

Key Responsibilities

•Define and lead injection platform strategy and technical architecture across the network.
•Set machine platform standards (controls, hydraulics/electric systems, auxiliaries) and guide future-state design direction.
•Develop mold–machine interface standards and partner to create design guardrails that improve manufacturability.
•Drive enterprise efforts to improve injection system performance (cycle time, repeatability, reliability) and troubleshoot chronic issues.
•Own injection equipment lifecycle strategy including modernization, obsolescence planning, retrofit/upgrade decisions, and technology benchmarking.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or a related technical field.
•10-15+ years of experience in injection molding machinery operation, process optimization, or equipment engineering in plastics or packaging.
•In-depth knowledge of injection machine systems, including controls, hydraulics, and auxiliary equipment (Husky experience preferred).
•Demonstrated experience in equipment strategy, platform standardization, or multi-site technical leadership.
•Strong understanding of mold–machine interaction and the ability to influence technical decisions across functions and sites.
