Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, maintain, and apply modelling and simulation tools used across engineering programmes.
  • •Create and use models to assess product and process performance at system and sub-system levels.
  • •Perform static and dynamic structural assessments to support product design, qualification, and performance investigations.
  • •Support CFD studies and contribute to the development and application of internal and external ballistic models.
  • •Analyze simulation results and present findings in technical reports and presentations, supporting model verification and validation using test/trial data.

Salary: GBP 34,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Obtain, or be predicted to obtain, a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or a pass at Master’s level in Engineering, Mathematics or Physics.
  • •Support the development, maintenance and application of numerical models and simulations using modelling techniques across engineering disciplines.
  • •Conduct static and dynamic structural assessments to support product design, qualification and performance investigations.
  • •Assist with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) studies relating to product performance and manufacturing processes.
  • •All applicants must, as a minimum, achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard (security/export control restrictions may apply).
