Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct and coordinate manufacturing/production activities for maximum productivity at minimum cost while maintaining Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
  • •Implement Eaton’s Continuous Improvement Framework by ensuring standardized processes are followed and empowering employees to improve standard work and apply countermeasures.
  • •Lead daily accountability meetings and weekly department meetings to drive departmental performance and issue resolution (Tier, GEMBA).
  • •Manage day-to-day production scheduling, review in-process inventory reports, maintain daily statistics, and communicate production metrics to management and supervisors.
  • •Develop and coach direct reports: determine personnel requirements, provide training resources, oversee job bidding, assign overtime as needed, and ensure work areas are kept clean and organized per 5S standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or High School Diploma/GED plus at least five (5) years of experience as a supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Ability to foster a Zero Incident Safety Culture and align department requirements with Eaton’s Quality Management System.
  • •Experience implementing continuous improvement using standardized processes (Eaton’s Continuous Improvement Framework).
  • •Experience leading production operations with strong leadership and communication in a fast-paced environment.
  • •Experience with MRP/ERP systems and/or lean fundamental understanding.
