Key Responsibilities

  • •Apply advanced litigation expertise to complex liability matters, including case evaluation, strategy, trial preparation, and presentation.
  • •Conduct legal research and analysis; prepare pleadings and documents; manage discovery; and appear in judicial/administrative/arbitration/mediation/trial proceedings.
  • •Develop and execute case strategy with claims partners, including timely escalation and use of alternative dispute resolution when appropriate.
  • •Maintain timely and accurate case file documentation and deliver responsive client service through proactive communication.
  • •Mentor attorneys and serve as a technical resource; identify opportunities to improve tools, resources, workflows, and operational efficiency.

Salary: USD 180,000 - 225,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Juris Doctor (JD) and 10+ (Chief) or 7+ (Senior) years of litigation experience.
  • •Member of the California Bar in good standing (for both roles).
  • •Experience with Microsoft Office suite and Adobe.
  • •Experience with Lexis or Westlaw.
  • •Knowledge of law and procedure, including litigation practices in insurance defense or liability matters (preferred jury trial experience for Chief/Senior).
