Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute commodity strategies for raw metals to reduce cost, improve quality, and strengthen supply chain resilience.
  • •Own end-to-end delivery of quality materials/parts at the right cost and lead process as the sourcing expert for raw metals.
  • •Lead RFI/RFQ/RFP and strategic sourcing processes, aggregating raw metals usage across business units to build company-wide strategies.
  • •Manage supplier relationships for continuity of supply, risk management, cost negotiations, and NPI to MP operation execution.
  • •Partner with engineering and suppliers to influence technical specifications, analyze quote submissions using cost breakdowns, and conduct regular commodity reviews to executive staff.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related technical field.
  • •10+ years of experience in supply chain commodity management of raw metals and/or sourcing engineering.
  • •Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • •Ability to relocate, if not already local, to be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance.
